Date Recieved: 3/23
GPA: A-
Extra Curricular Activities (including what leadership positions): School Newspaper editor, Latin club co-consul, Quiz Bowl, Amnesty International, swim team, National Honors Society, lifeguarding, saxophone, volunteer art teacher
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Any other important factors: Hmm... I attend an arts-magnate school for part of the day (don't know if it's "important," but I love the school!)
Awards Won: Scholastic Gold Key, National Merit Commended, varsity letter in swimming
Race/ethnicity: White
Others: My twin and I both got our letters today! We're so excited (Bryn Mawr is our first choice). My dad, however, pulled a dirty trick - he stuck my acceptance letter in a small envelope to make it appear as if only my sister had been accepted. I was stupid enough to fall for it....

That's horrible! I would have been really mad if my dad did that : )

hey ivory birch...
did you show him you were a mawrtyr and kick him where it counts?
um... next "America's funniest home video"?

Decision: Accepted
Date Recieved: 3/24 (as I am in California)
GPA: 3.67 UW, 4.1 W
Extra Curricular Activities (including what leadership positions): Girls State, Model UN officer, Youth and Government, many other clubs, 1200 service hours tutoring and aiding children around my community. It's kind of my thing. :) I go to summer camps over the summer, and I help mentor and tutor after-school.
Location: Pasadena, California
Any other important factors: I think I write well, and I loved my essay for Bryn Mawr. I really want to go there, so that probably helped. I also met the Dean of Admissions inadvertently last fall when she visited my school.
