Bryn Mawr RD 2021 Results/Discussion

Decisions should be released at 4 pm (that’s when they were released last year I think) and I’m pretty sure it will be tomorrow, but we should all get an email the day of announcing that decisions will be posted that afternoon

There’s been a trend of BMC decisions being released on the third Wednesday of March, so I’m pretty sure it’s tomorrow. Last year, the 23rd was on Wednesday. The year before that, decisions were released on the 25th and that was on Wednesday too. I’m sooo nervous lol

Did anyone receive an email from DHL notifying you about a mail coming out from bmc admissions? Does this mean I got in or do they send mails to all applicants?

What are you talking about @Amaaandafu ?

We did not get any notification about anything from DHL.

I didn’t receive a DHL email. Has anyone else received an email like that?

The email was sent around 2 last afternoon and was titled DHL Shipment Notification. Something like this:
Greetings from DHL!
(Please do not reply to this email address since it is not monitored for responses)

The following piece has been sent by ADMISSIONS OFFICE 610-526-5152 from BRYN MAWR COLLEGE-ADMISSIONS via XML Services on 2017-03-21 waybill number: xxxxxxx

It also reads that the shipment contents are letter and cards, which I think should indicate acceptance or they wouldn’t include anything but a rej letter in it.
I could be wrong, but I really hope I do get in!

@Amaaandafu … I think you know exactly what that means

Well… I don’t think they would send mails to rejected applicants coz that’s gonna be super costly, but no one around me has received such an email so it makes me feel kinda weird. Anyway I really love Bryn Mawr, it just feels right. I hope I can see all of you in September!

Amaandafu, are you an international student (to us in the US) ? DHL is usually used for international mail. Also, Bryn Mawr admissions office is closed today for their “Community Day of Learning”, so maybe the pattern of fourth Wednesday in March will not hold up.

@DadinaBox yes I’m living in China. I’m not trying to scare anybody or add to the already enormous stress of application season. I’m just getting a little worried myself.

Phew. I was getting worried. I thought for sure I was rejected because I didn’t get an email like that. Phew.

So are we thinking it might not come out today? Has anyone gotten an email that they will be released later today?

It looks like last year they sent an email around 1:00 that they were releasing at 4:00, so it still could happen.

Hopefully today!!

@DadinaBox, the Bryn Mawr website says all classes are cancelled today for the “Community Day of Learning” but it doesn’t say all administrative offices are closed…are you just assuming that the Admissions Office would be closed, or do you know that from some other source of info?

They posted on the Bryn mawr admissions page saying that the office of admissions was closed today. I’m guessing we’ll hear tomorrow.

@connecticutgal maybe they’re closed to the public because they’re getting ready to release our decisions

Also, I’m not sure how much effort has to be done on their part… it seems like an automated system can do most of the work for them
