Hello.
I am in 9th grade this year, and I will apply to some boarding schools. Normally, I should apply for 10th grade. The thing is, I was wondering if it would actually be better if i applied for 9th grade. The academics and the school program at my school are VERY different from those in boarding schools, as I live in Europe. So, it would not be like I am repeating a year. I am a very good student and i think i could catch up with the other students, but if i go as a prep, i would not need to rush things...
So, is it allowed, to apply for 9th grade after you have finished 9th grade in your school..and would it be better or worse in chances of admission? I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks
