Hey.
So I've applied to several accelerated BS/DO programs and I'm having trouble in choosing which one to go attend. So far I've got acceptances from these programs. If anyone could provide some details on these schools/programs pros and cons ..etc.
University of Hartford Pre-Osteopathy (UNECOM)
Gannon University (PECOM)
Utica (UNECOM or LECOM)

I honestly wouldn’t recommend BS/DO programs…you will be able to get into a DO school even without a stellar undergrad performance if you go the normal route. You might as well take a shot at MD which is more valuable than the year you’d save by opening up more opportunities.

LECOM
It’s becoming more difficult to get into a D.O. program. I just saw a site on SDN for Nova Southeastern COM, and one of the candidate with a GPA of 3.9 and MCAT of 29 got wait listed. dblazer’s recommendation might have been correct about 3 years ago, but it is getting very competitive for anyone (especially if you are an Asian applicant) to get into any U.S. medical school. .
@TinkerbellaX See post #3.

@TinkerbellaX You’re welcome. Good luck at NYIT!
