I heard that UAB calls you within the same day of the interview to say if you were selected for the program. Anyone know if that is actually true? Do the others, like Boston, Miami, Albany, etc. take more time to notify you?

@desigirl23
AMC will only select one application, if you submit your app to all 3 colleges. I understand AMC has already send out interviews to every body (100 - rpi+union+Sienna)

A student called from UAB today to confirm if I got the interview instructions and if I will be able to make the interview ,if not they will give the spot to someone else, I did confirm I will be there , some people may opt out and they will offer the spot to someone else so hang on tight.

No actually I called AMC and you could, if you’re qualified enough, get offered an interview with all three programs, or two, or just one. There’s no rule that you won’t be offered an interview by more than one of the three schools feeding into AMC. Also, they will still be notifying people of interviews through Jan. and Feb. - they’re not done yet.

@Medicine96 thanks for the hope :)

try looking through last year’s threads, you might find an answer there! :)

njman94 which school does only 20 interviews? boston?

Njman Do u happen to know the stats of ppl who got accepted to njit last yr? Like what kind of ecs and scores they had?

@fallpsat no the 20 acceptances was for njit/njms, not boston

dreambig0x thanks. My S did not apply there

For people applying to NJMS/UMDNJ, did you guys have interviews first with the undergraduate college (NJIT, Rutgers, Stevens, Caldwell)? What were the questions like? Any medical questions? Thanks.

@sanguinee for UMDNJ we have interviews at the undergrad schools first. i had mine with NJIT in november and it was a one on one interview. the guy that interviewed me was really chill and just asked me the typical “why do you wanna be a doctor, why this program, yada ya” questions and then asked questions about my resume and stuff. it was more conversational in my case, and i felt really comfortable talking to him. if you applied to NJIT, aim to get interviewed by dr. darshan (i think thats what his name was)!! the other guy seemed nice too, but he was the dean of the program so idk how things went with him…

I didn’t apply to NJIT, I applied to Caldwell and they’re doing a phone interview with me so I was wondering what to expect. Thanks for the info though! :)

Does anyone know how many are invited to interviews? how many offered ? and no of seats thanks

JUST got invited for an interview at U of Pittsburgh!!! :D
