<p>What does it mean to be an alternate for the PPSP program? How exactly does that work? Does that mean that we are guaranteed an interview or are we considered for the program only if other candidates decline the interview (which i’m sure happens rarely, if at all).</p>
<p>rejected from cwru ppsp…totally saw this coming but still depressing. and i think it means if space becomes available (yeah, if people decline interviews) then you may get to interview for the program.</p>

<p>This order is based on med school rankings. UCSD belongs at number 3 but since it is limited to California, it should not be ranked.</p>
<p>rejected PPSP. If I wasn’t even offered an interview at Case, do I even have the slightest chance at Brown PLME? That has been my dream school, and now I don’t even think I have a chance.</p>
<p>Anyone applied to/heard back from Rice/Baylor or WashU? When do their interview notifications typically come out?</p>
<p>Why are people so obsessed about the extremely expensive programs like Northwestern and Brown? I didn’t get a PPSP interview, but in the end, I’m happy that I do have interviews to places I can actually afford.</p>
<p>@sjshah I got interviews from hpme, ppsp and bu but rejected outright from GW? There’s nothing consistent about these …</p>
<p>Rice/Baylor only comes after the admssions at Rice are announced, typically 3rd or 4th week of March. Interviews late March/April with immediate notifications.</p>
<p>WashU should be happening soon since they invite people for a scholarship weekend in March. The problem is that they close the admission cycle on 15th and so they need at least a few weeks to shortlist.</p>
<p>That’s good about WashU. Inconsistency is an issue, but then again, it’s all a crapshoot.</p>
<p>Has anybody received NJMS interviews recently? I know some people received them around January 8-10. Anybody notified after those days? These would be from NJIT/TCNJ programs. Those apps were forwarded to NJMS.</p>
<p>I scheduled my NJMS interview for this Friday from NJIT.</p>
<p>i called up njit last week and said they still had one round of honors college interviews to go and they wouldn’t send out any med school interviews from njms until mid february!</p>
