How many will be accepted?

So, what questions are you all expecting for the big interview?
how do you all suggest we prep for them?

How many will be accepted?

So, what questions are you all expecting for the big interview?
how do you all suggest we prep for them?

about half of the interviewees are accepted, i believe
if you haven't already sent in your interview date form, i suggest your first choice being somewhere in the early middle

and questions i know we'll definitely get are why we chose VCU and why we chose our particular major. i suggest you look at your resume and think about what they would pick out to ask about. for example, i volunteer on the EMS squad so i'm almost positive they'll ask me about my experience on that...

I was thinking about applying there. but I crossed off VCU, Ucincinatti and Umiami (missed the deadline) in terms of 7/8 year programs.

good luck to everyone there, i'm kind of wishing I had applied there (as more of a backup bs/md program I suppose)

I heard this is one of the "less" intense med interviews...

My interview date is set on feb 13. I wonder who I'll see.

do you guys mind posting your stats because i got a rejection letter from there and i have good stats and i live in va

there is another thread about vcu "vcu notifications" which has the stats.

they say we don't need to bring anything, but are you guys going to take anything?

they recommended you to bring a picture of yourself so they can remember who you were
i'll still bring my recommendation, transcript, volunteer info stuff like that

What is "casual business attire"? i interpreted that as a suit- is anyone else wearing something else?

abnime...jus like a paper wit all ur volunteer and community service and ECs stuff on it?? or like tons of certificates and what nots about it?

just my resume with all of my EC's and awards listed, a letter describing my EMS squad and my duties there, a picture of myself, and a letter describing my leadership positions and summer programs. these aren't even required, and if you want to bring stuff you shouldn't bring any more than that. remember you have to walk around all day with this stuff =)

well, i'm a girl so i'm probably going to wear a dress with a jacket. but if you're a guy i would definitely say wear a suit.

my interview's on feb 6! =)

anyone has interview tomorrow? If i am not wrong, the first date for interviews is january 23... wonder how it will go...

those who took the interview: how was it?

oo i c adbnime

g/l at ur interview!

does anyone know how much the cost will be at VCU for OOS?

OOS tuition is about $8,800 dollars and room and board is around $2,500

this site will give you more details:
