***BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2013***

Did any one get an interview notification for Boston or umkc yet? It even VCU?

@sananthasekar
I was put on the alternate list for UMKC

@samantha I was put on the alternate list for UMKC also.
No news on VCU

and super congrats to butterfli!

Is anyone interviewing for Miami Jan 22?

@butterfli: Congragulations! I am sure you will get into the program…just one quick question: did you get an email about an interview for the combined program specifically or just for Union? Congrats again and good luck!

@longlegs yes, i’m pretty sure they are going in order of submissions! Don’t worry just yet, it’ll take a few days
@hamiltonlover thank you! All the emails I have gotten so far have been directly from AMC, none from union, as is the interview. I think it’s only one interview at AMC

butterli123 when did you submit your supplemental application? Did it take long for AMC to get back to you?

I submitted it on Monday and got the reply on thursday

@butterfli123, congrats when is your interview ? They set the date or you can pick up a date ?

When you get the invitation, it gives you a choice of 4 dates, and those dates, I think, depends on when you submitted your application. however, you can choose any monday or friday from jan-march, if you just call the number they provide. Thats what i did because i have most of my weekends booked for other interviews. The lady was super nice and I scheduled mine for feb 15th. good luck to you :)

^
What interviews do you have on the weekends? All of mine are during the week lol.

some penn state hershey affiliations and drexel ones (but I have some days off of school, so i consider those as part of my weekend lol )

@butterfli: you got interviews at penn state and…drexel? i didn’t know drexel interviews were out already.

not drexel or penn state themselves. the consortium undergrads

anyone got any amc interview notifications today?

"I am sorry to advise you that we were unable to consider your candidacy for admission to the Union College/Albany Medical College Leadership in Medicine Program. We did not receive the supplemental application by the stated deadline; therefore, your application is ineligible for review by our Admissions Committee and is administratively withdrawn from further consideration for this combined degree program. "

Someone received this from albany medical college as part of Union college. The student filed the application by Dec 1st deadline and received an admission from Union with a note saying the application was forwarded to AMC. So the student is not sure what they might be missing that disqualified him.

Anyone has any ideas? Was there additional paperwork sent out by AMC which is the supplemental application?

^
Reading previous posts on this thread, it appears that some supplemental applications were sent to the spam folder. Students are given a set time within which they have to complete the supplemental application. It’s likely that this individual was disqualified because he unknowingly missed the deadline to submit the supplemental application. Of course, this is just speculation… I didn’t apply to Union.

On that note, did anyone hear back from RPI?

^ I went through the application process on the website and it does not mention any additional forms coming from AMC. I am hoping someone here knows if something does need to be filled out in addition to commonapp and supplement for Union.

Looks like an email with instructions to login and complete within one week went into the spam folder. Wonder why they don’t check to make sure it is received when they provide such short timelines by ensuring the person logged in in a timely manner.

There is an email that I received from AMC:

The next stage of the review process requires the completion of the
