BS vs. BA Biology

So, I'm already a (BA) psych major and am thinking about adding a bio major. If I add the BS bio major, I'll have to take an extra semester or two of classes and physics & o.chem are requirements. If I add the BA bio major, I'll graduate "on time" and will not have to take physics or o.chem. I had a hard time w/ physics in high school and although I did well in college gen. chem, I'm afraid that won't happnen in o.chem.
If I want to work as a tech in a lab or get a Master's in biology, do I need to have a BS or is a BA okay? How tough is admissions for grad programs in biology?
Thanks.
