<p>After spending some time looking at the Supplements for Columbia and Princeton, I found out that they "ask" that you have a mathematics and either a physics or chemistry SAT subject test in order to apply for their respective engineering schools. </p>
<p>I have a math II score from sophomore year, and a molecular biology score from freshman year. I do not plan to take another subject test (I need to increase my SAT I score this October), but will this put me at a disadvantage?</p>

<p>What are your scores? If they are good, there would be no reason to believe they would be… bad. lol</p>
<p>They aren’t the best. 750 for biology (M) and 770 for math II. I suppose saying that I took the biology one my freshman year wouldn’t offset the non-perfect 800 score? haha.</p>

<p>They strongly recommend Physics/Chem. Bio is a science class, but it isn’t as relevant to engineering as physics or chemistry are. I suggest you take one of the two for your subject test requirement. Princeton also recommends that you take a physics course in high school, so I suggest you look into that.</p>

<p>First, since you’re applying to both schools, I would infer that you’re applying to both RD? In that case there’s no problem because you can SAT 1 in Oct. and SAT II in Nov.</p>
<p>Also, you definitely must fulfill these requirements to study engineering at either of these schools because you are not applying to the university and declaring a major there like MIT or CalTech but instead, you are applying to a college of engineering and one of the requirements for application is a Math Level 2 and Physics or Chemistry.</p>
<p>I’m interested in applying to both of those schools next year, too. Though, I am from from the prodigy OP here with his near perfect scores on subject tests as a freakin freshman in high school. haha for real where do people like you come from?! I thought i would have a hard time getting into my state school when i was a freshman! Dreams of Princeton hadn’t even crossed my mind! Heck, I didn’t even know any of my scores were somewhat “Ivy-Level” until a couple months ago and i’m a senior now! idk why i’m talking about this on this post (sorry) but it just never fails to amaze me how I live in a different world than some of these kids.
