<p>From what I've researched, it seems that engineers with an MS tend to have about 10% higher salaries than ones with only a BS. It seems that they can get slightly more prestigious jobs, but a lot of of the worth of the MS degree is negated by the 2 years of work experience gained in the time otherwise spent getting the MS.</p>
<p>I know that an MBA puts an engineer down a different track, but what are the salaries and promotion potential with an MBA? Is there a similar plateau?</p>
