Does anyone know how the BTI travel agency handles plane tickets for Ride the Tide? I'm flying in from Boston that day, but I haven't gotten any info on how I'm supposed to do that. The only thing I know is that they marked me down for it. I got a confirmation email for the Amtrak I'm taking home on Friday, so I know to pick up my train ticket at the kiosk, but I know nothing about the plane. What should I do?

You could call Swat admissions/BTI to check.

But I think it works more like... you check into the airport earlier than the flight (I think it's 1-2 hrs for domestic flights). At the ticket counter, you show photo id and they give you your plane ticket, reserved under your name. Hop the plane, fly down, and after arriving, look for the guy with the Swarthmore sign, who will drive you to Swat...

As for the train ride, there will be a shuttle running to and fro Swat to the Philly train station on Friday. You pick up the ticket again at the counter, under your name, with photo id, and then ride the train... have a ride handy.

This is just my general experience as to what happens when someone else buys the ticket for you and you plane/train somewhere. If you call, please post their response, because I want to be sure. ^_^ I'll be less lazy as the week goes on, but the procrasinated AP Econ beckons.
