BU Admissions Rate?

Was the admissions rate really that low this year? It’s like less than 10%…</p>

<p>No. It was a particularly tough year, but those 4,000 spots are how many people they expect to actually enroll, not how many they accepted. They accepted many more than 4,000 applicants because the yield rate for regular decision will be much lower than 100%. I would speculate that they accepted somewhere around 20,000 students, which would still make for a much lower acceptance rate than in previous years.</p>
