would trustees be through email, portal, for regular mail?
@intstudent2021 I mean I don’t know, I just saw what happened last year haha. It should be regular mail so different states and countries may receive it on different times.
Oh well. I guess I’m just going to wait for my decision on the 18th then.
My ACT is too low for the TS anyway!
I know this is going to sound like the stupidest question ever so I apologize for that, but if you get accepted to the Trustee Scholarship, does that mean you’ve been accepted to BU? I only ask because it sounds like the decisions for BU come out after the decisions for the scholarship. Thanks!
Yes
Be aware that only 60 applicants will get Trustees out of over 50,000 applications.
They announced on FB that they had over 60k applicants this year. Only about 20 out of the 60 Trustee awards that are offered are accepted. They don’t “reoffer” those that are declined. They stick with their 20 Trustee recipients.
Those 60,000 applicants are to BU overall. The number to apply for the Trustee would be much smaller.
Thankfully, YES.
Hey sorry this might be a dumb question but if you applied for the trustee scholarship and don’t get it (I’m not expecting to get it at all I just did it because why not?) are you still considered for admission? So just because I don’t get the scholarship does it mean I’m not considered for admission in general?
Not at all. They admit over 3k students, and only 60 of those are offered Trustee.
My D who was admitted ED is also waiting to hear about Trustees. Good luck to all who are waiting for news about admissions and scholarships!
This week is going to feel hecka’ long.
Hey can someone chance me for BU?

@MissAnthropy I feel your pain
has anyone heard from trustee?
@acrogymnast Not yet! They should be out soon enough. At this point it’d be best to watch some fun cat videos and hang out with your family knowing that within the next week or so you’ll get a decision. Good luck!
Just letting you guys know, BU admissions posted on their fb page that the admissions office is closed tomorrow. Hoping this won’t effect when decisions are released!
@hayley99 probably just to explain any missed calls
Does anyone know what time we’ll find out on Saturday?
