Bu ed 2019

@snoogleki‌ i didnt check it

Me neither, but your stats are so much better… @food4lyfe‌ and CAS’s acceptance rate is higher than ENG’s

@snoogleki‌ thanks! ur stats are good too. ENG is def a hard school but i heard if u took calc or physics chances will be higher. i know they look a lot at course rigor. how many honors/ap/de classes did u take? i took 14 total

Let’s see ap is 1 soph yr, 3 jr yr, 4 now. So 8
And only 1 honors in jr yr
Wowww 14…damn. yea i took physics b soph yr, and am in c now… @food4lyfe‌ at least i didn’t pick BME which is the major that BU is famous for

since u took physics b and c they should accept u cuz those classes r pretty important for ENG. ohhh yeah BME is pretty popular . 14 includes honors, AP, and DE for me. not doing any AP english classes bc i dont like English. i did take eng11H tho. im more into the math/science, which is why i took physics, CS1A, 1B, C++, ap calc, etc. cant wait for results!!! i wish they would release it earlier

20 dayss

Ughhh I’m still pretty worry. App link indicates they still havent finished reviewing my app. I feel like mine is most likely stucked in the huge “maybe” pile and determine its destiny in the admission committees @food4lyfe

@snoogleki‌ wow wait your thing doesn’t say “our records indicate review of your application is complete” ? im sure they will review it either mon/tues or the week after thanksgiving because then they have to finalize the list
they reviewed mine nov6th i think…sometime around that. im just worried they didnt like my essay but i hope they did…i really want to go to BU!! they should just accept everyone ED since they know its our first choice

I’m not at all a science/math person. My grades are still good for the most part in those areas (except trig and chemistry which I definitely struggled with) but my 7 AP’s are all in things like english, history, music, art, psychology, and I’ve also taken 2 years of honors language. those are all the types of things my extra curriculars and academic awards are focused on as well, and I have tried to make my hours of community service (which I have a lot of, hope they like that) in the general direction of those disciplines as well. My goal is for them to see that I have clear interests and passions that I have pursued extensively throughout high school, but I’m worried theyll think I’m too ‘lopsided’ in my interests without enough all-around achievements. I go to a dual curriculum school, and its hard to take so many AP’s there because we have judaic studies requirements that we need to fulfill and there aren’t enough periods during the day to take everything we want. Sometimes I wish I would have gone to public school
And @snoogleki I don’t think they have finished reviewing mine either- it just says this:

@atribecalledbeck‌
I think they still accepts credentials until dec 1st so they’ll probably review more after 12/1 as well
Same with me. My app has an “engineering theme” and most of the classes and EC i had were physics and math related.

@snoogleki‌ looks like ur app is complete! once they review it, it’ll say review of your app is complete. i posted what they said above to someone else ^ . yeah, if they need additional info i guess they will just email you. since u did a lot of math/science, you seem like a top candidate

@snoogleki I haven’t seen my quarter grades myself- they havent come out yet. of course as soon as they come out I will send them. They come out sometime this week.

Anyone else ED to CGS to be safe?

I applied ED to Sargent!

My applicant link says they already reviewed my application. I can’t wait until the decisions come out and I hope it goes well for everyone!

@MAgirl2015‌ same mine said they reviewed my app around 2 weeks ago! what are your stats?

@wishfulterrier‌ i did not; the only school i selected was CAS. did u apply directly to CGS?

@food4lyfe‌ my stats are good - about 2200 SAT, 4.7 weighted GPA, lots of volunteer/observation hours, band every year and same sport throughout high school

Is anyone else as beyond terrified that they aren’t gonna get in as me? And P.S. @atribecalledbeck‌ mine says the same thing. I emailed my counselor. Should I call them tomorrow? I just want to make sure everything’s all set.

@food4lyfe‌ i did, its my dream school and i wanted to play it safe
