BU/Northeastern Chance?

I’m currently a second semester sophomore Microbiology major at UMass Amherst for as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to go to BU or Northeastern. My GPA isn’t as great as it should be. It’s currently a 3.14 however my grades are going in an upwards trend. My first semester I received a C+ in Calc 1, second semester a C- in General Chemistry II (which I retook and got an A) and this semester I received a C+ in Organic Chemistry I. I was wondering if I had a shot at BU or Northeastern. I was also wondering if there was anything I could do to improve my chances.

What is your ultimate goal in your life and why are you transferring? If your goal is med school , you are most likely not going to succeed. You will not better off by transferring if graduate school is in the plan.
