I am deciding between BU and GWU, I was admitted into their respective college of arts and sciences with a major in economics.
Money is not being factored into my final decision.

I live in Southern NH about 45 minutes from Boston.

I hope to attend a top tier Graduate school for most likely a law degree or MBA.

I have been told constantly to go with my gut feeling, but I can't say that I have one. I'm extremely torn between both schools, and love both.

Which school is the better choice?

Pretty much a toss up. They are very similar places, except that BU is larger. Do you prefer hockey or basketball?

Since you live close to Boston, DC will be a different experience for you. But living close enough to home to be able to get a home cooked meal once in a while also has its advantages.

One intangible. GW has to live in the shadow of Georgetown. BU lives in the shadow of Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Brandeis, and BC. As a result, while the schools are absolute peers of one another, GW students seem to have a higher view of themselves than BU students do. Just an observation.
