So I currently go to BU Metropolitan College,non-degree seeker,my first semester there, and I'm also going to Bunker Hill Community College (Biology Program) for a total of 18 credits. Also I work fulltime at a Pharmaceutical Company as a Lab Tech and basically i go to school before and after work. My question is, Jobs out there are very comptetitive, so should I keep taking classes in Bunker Hill and BU MET then apply to the Biomedical Laboratory program at BU and transfer my credits over from Bunker Hill or should i apply as a transfer to MIT for spring 2013 as I've been thinking lately ? I really like BU, but the fact that is MET while MIT is highly recognized and i might have, a slight advantage over those who's never worked on a lab before, since i have been working in labs for the past 5 years almost 6. I'm not biased to BU i really love it , but MIT to me, would give me better opportunities, academically and proffesionally. what do you think? serious answers please! Thank you.

IF MIT accepts your app. GO Ahead…make the transfer…

Just so you know, MIT takes very few transfers. It depends on how many students transferred or dropped out, which is often a very small number. Start early with contacting them and exploring your options.
