Which ones better for premed or just better in general?

Is this a question for a decision after acceptance or is it just fishing?

(And do you expect people in Boston to know much, if anything about Tulane?)

Actually, there are tons of students at Tulane from the Boston area, and many no doubt end up back in Boston. But as I said to the OP in the Tulane thread, the question is kind of useless without have some specifics of what he is looking for in a school (besides premed) because it would require a book about each school. For premed, no school makes any difference as long as the school is decent. After all, premed only requires 4 semesters of the two core chem courses, basic physics, a bio course or two, and I guess calc and English, which most schools require anyway. It isn’t like there is a premed major. Besides, 9 times out of 10 picking a school because they supposedly are stonger in a particular major is a mistake anyway.

My guess was this was an unfocused question from a kid not yet applying to schools. If it’s a real choice issue, then I’ll try to help.

BTW, I’ve noticed a subtext of many of the “pre-med” questions is: can I get better grades in college than in high school, particularly at this or x college? (My response is you need to learn how to study efficiently and without as much guidance as in high school.)
