Bucknell Bucknell Bucknell...

I would really like to learn more about this school, especially from the student perspective. Anyone have any thoughts?

try the bucknell forum...

I did....anyone else?

can't give you a student's perspective, but from a hiring manager's perspective, I love Bucknell engineering graduates. Smart, technically sharp, can write well, and can actually interact with other people....all of this consistently more so than some of the powerhouse engineering schools IMO.

nice campus & fairly small LAC setting....I certainly liked it while visiting.

Thanks! That's really what I like to hear, especially since it's not one of the typical big name schools. Is the location a real negative, or do people find ways around it?

There really isn't much around there so you really should visit to see if the area appeals to you (definitely not a city or large town environment). One of my good friends lives there and is happy. I camp with her every year at RB Winter SP and we see lots of college kids camping there. I've heard there's lots of drinking on campus because "there's nothing else to do." Then again, there's lots of drinking on most college campuses.

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'll be attending Bucknell in the fall. All I can tell you is that Bucknell is an amazing school, physically, academically, and socially. The campus is the most prettiest thing you'll ever see. All the students are nice. The professors are the kind of professors that want to get to know you/ In addition, they are extremely smart. If you have any questions, you can im me at iluvlucy936

Its pretty much isolated...there are lots of things on campus to do though

Some would say that the student body is a little too preppy/white-washed, but you get that at most patriot league schools (i.e you see plenty of people with popped collars...)

there isn't that much diversity however....
