Yes, everyone is notified of their standing either way!
I applied to, so when we are notified later this month is that the final decision or will we be still in the process for the consideration of this scholarship?
If you are declared a provisional recipient, they will ask for the documents supporting your application (Transcripts, Tax forms, anything else they may need). After everything is squared away and they know the information you stated is true, they’ll notify the people who have definitely won.

I wonder why they declare some provisional recipients and some they just say yeah you got it. What makes them want to confirm the provisional recipients?
From what I’ve seen in years past, all the national winners are declared provisional recipients first and then supply information. They do not have the $2000 recipients this year so I’m not worried about that, but I think they also have information they need to verify.
What should we be expecting snail mail or a email?
I believe they notify through email for both recipients and non-recipients!

I’m not sure! Site says late April, and the email said mid-April, so I suppose anytime now would be in that timeframe 
I doubt they would send it on a weekend, but who knows!

@musicgeek97 – the email you received once you submitted your application. At the end it states, “Applicants will be notified of their status in mid-April. Best of luck in the competition!”
From the FAQ portion of the Buick Achievers site, they say it will be through email. I don’t think it is possible to log in to our accounts now.
