Hey guys, I just have a quick question. I booked my tickets today (I know it's really late) through the voucher system with the help of an admissions officer (long story), but there's a problem--when I go onto the admits page to register online for Bulldog Days, it says "Registration is no longer available. See you at Bulldog Days!". Does this mean that I have missed the deadline? Or that I'm automatically registered already? Or that I can't attend anymore and should cancel my tickets? The admissions office has closed for the day, so I can't ask them.

If you haven't already registered, can you check and see if the registration is still open for you? And to those who have registered through Yale's travel agents, did you encounter this?

I can't imagine them not letting you go to Bulldog Days over some registration error. Absolutely no need to worry, but do call them up and confirm first thing tomorrow.

You guys will have such an awesome time -- I didn't go to Bulldog Days or even visit beforehand, I'm so jealous.

I remember reading somewhere that the deadline to register for bulldog days was april 14. but earlier in the year i remember reading on the boards somewhere (on the admitted student website) that you could register up until that night and that they want you there no matter what.

So i can't give you a definite answer, but i would reccomend either asking this question on the admit website or emailing an admissions officer

OP, since the ad office is closed, you might try the admitted student website. They are quick to respond to all sorts of questions very promptly, and there are threads devoted to BDD.

They'll definitely accommodate you for BDD. Just contact the admissions office, your admissions officer (firstname.lastname@yale.edu), any URC, or if all else fails you can stay in my room :-).

Thanks for the advice, everyone (and the room, kwiji =P). I called the admissions office on Friday and they said it isn't a problem. For anyone else wondering, they even accept walk-on registrations. Yay Yale!
