Anyone getting the "end of school year" slacking yet?

It's only a week and a half into school, and I feel like it should be april/may already.
I'm already slacking off, and that's bad. real bad. I should be doing chemistry right now rather than being on here.
AP Classes burned me out.

How do you rescue yourself? Anyone in the same position?

i got a job...

I'm so burnt out right now...and we've been in school for less than a week...

It's horrible, isn't it?

I've got all the honors classes, varsity cross country, a part time job, and a lead role in the musical. I'm BURNT.
Junior year is supposed to be the most important, and it looks like I'm going to crash and burn.

And daaaaang, the difficulty level between sophomore and junior year is HUGE. This SUCKS!

Yep, it gets even worse (at least for me) between junior and senior year. Last year was manageable, this year is not.

No...It's my junior year and I'm telling myself I can't slack off.

Wow, I still have great grades (for the moment) but I've been driving myself crazy this past week.

Tomorrow: AP Calculus BC (first test), AP Physics B (first quiz), College Spanish (Test worth 20% of my final grade!) then I have my regular assignments to complete... Everything is so much harder online

senioritis!.....has not hit me yet actually. my schedule consists of 5 AP's this yr and there's only one that i'm actually kinda really scared about -- calc BC...yikes

however, i feel like i'm in a better mental stage now than back in may/june...i kinda gave up towards the end of my junior yr and as a result, well, my GPA kinda got sucked down the drain. yes i wish i could start over again. but last yr was HARD!

Wow. You guys have only been in school a week?
Our midterms are friday!
I've been slacking pretty bad.. Putting off homework and projects til the last second but it hasn't hurt me yet. Knock on wood, haven't got my first English Paper back yet..
Now Spanish IV is killing me. Independent Study is not my thing. I'm already down to a B, and it isn't weighted. :(

we've definitely been in school for nearly five weeks...i can't believe it

junior years is ridiculously difficult

really? I found it much easier. Not as much pressure since you can pace yourself...

woah Kayleighh, when does your school start?? Mine started Sept. 4th...

I've been in school over a month.

Okay, I was just upset. To be honest, most everything online (College courses, AP Calculus BC, particularly honors courses) are MUCH easier online. Assignments are due daily in my AP Physics B course and by 10:00pm and sometimes I most of the time I don't get home until 8. I really love that my other courses have work due by week.

AP Physics B is giving me some trouble... I've never really had any high school science courses before (I had a decent intro to honors physical science course) but AP Physics B is giving me more work than all of my other courses combined, and there's so much online reading that I end up lost in the course because I don't do it all.

^ wait so you just skipped straight to AP? No wonder you have so many AP courses.....yeah but the AP Bio would be nearly impossible without normal Biology Honors...so you better study really hard! Good luck :)

With physics yes, there's no place for me to take honors physics/standard physics so it was either jump straight into AP Physics B, or not take physics.

I'm doing an all-nighter to study for tomorrow. It's my first of this year. ;)

I do have the prereq's for AP Calculus BC. There are no prerequisites for my college version of AP Spanish (You literally are doing 4 semesters of college Spanish in 2 semesters) and as of tomorrow I'll be 51% done with the 1st course. I'm getting a bit worried now that I decided to skip all 4 recommended courses.

My biology course that is "1/2 of AP Biology" has no prereq's and is also a college class. There's no standard/honors biology anywhere here either.

I'm just crossing my fingers to get into my state magnet, because if I don't I'll have to graduate early or take BS (And I don't mean bachelor of science) courses for my senior year.

I've been in school for a month+ too =[

dude i've been like that since freshman

if i wasn't already slacking, i wouldn't be up right now studying for the massive ap chem test i have tomorrow. oh, it's going to be a fun year!

Slacker? That describes my whole life there right now. I've been at school for a week. It's not that bad but boring.

i get that every year. mostly from january on. but this year it's like...now =/
