I'm trying to decide between UCI and UCD, and I want to be major in business administration. I'd like your thoughts.

UCI, there isn’t a Business school at UCD right? If you’re actually interested in econ though, idk.

Interested in this as well. Deciding between UCI, UCD, and UCSB. It’s true that UCI does have a business school, but nobody knows how good it is since there hasn’t been a class that graduated yet. I heard people say that it’s hard to get into UCI’s business school not because it’s prestigious but just because it’s new. Is that true?

On the other hand, just because Davis doesn’t have a business school doesn’t mean that you will get a worse education. However, their major is in Economics…not business.

The Business Admin major started about 3 years ago, it was really competitive to get in. They also offer a Business Econ major.

I’m not in the B-school, but when I took management, the prof said 2-3 years ago, we out ranked two of the schools-- UPenn, Harvard Business and Lodon School of Economics–and was second to one of them, but can’t remember which. Granted this was for the Business school (not the undergrad level) and this was before budget cuts took effect. I’m sure the differences at each UC school isn’t much, I would suggest checking out the campus and perhaps talking to someone from the department (try emailing some of the profs), if possible.
