Currently, I am a Computer Information Science major at a university in MO. Here, CIS is half computer science, half business...basically. I'm at the point where computer programming classes are getting too in-depth and not practical, and it's honestly no fun. However, all my business classes I am loving! I know that 98% of graduates under the CIS degree graduate from here getting near and above $50,000 starting pay.

However, since the business classes are the ones I enjoy, I am looking into switching majors. I have 50 hours left if I stay with CIS, and 52 hours left if I switch to Businesss Administration.

Question is... does a Business Administration degree really get people anywhere? I mean, what types of jobs do those people get? What kinds of starting pays? On one hand, a Business Admin degree is general enough that it can be applied to a lot of things. On the other hand, a Business Admin degree might be way too general, and companies might be looking for specifics.

What do you think??
