It’s generally accepted thought, bigger college, bigger opportunities. What many have found, bigger college, more persons applying for such opportunities. Nearly everyone my daughter knows that wants research, has found professors at WM that have offered them the opportunity. Both schools are top notch. Truthfully, you need to decide what campus has the better feel for you. Good luck! BTW…daughter is current JR at WM. Both sons graduated UVA. Son 2, after the fact, wished he attended WM.

Even though W&M is smaller, the opportunities are limitless. We have over 400 student clubs and organizations, 23 DI sports, 45 club sports teams, 27 Greek-letter chapters, 20+ international service trips, and the list goes on and on.

Both are excellent choices of course. You may want to consider visiting W&M’s new business facility (Miller Hall). There are tours of the facility on Day for Admitted Students (April 17). This is a state-of-the-art, brand new facility that will really take W&M’s Mason School of Business (already highly rated) to the next level.
