business attire needed?

I am a student newsly transferring into Tepper. Spent my freshman year in MCS and decided to trasnfer. As a sophomore, what kind of business attires will I need? (business formal, casual, both..? anything else if needed?)

I know there are a couple of recruiting events, but i did not attend those last year so I'm not sure how the process works. Can anyone explain that briefly? what exactly goes on, etc. do you just show up with a resume and go around talking to recruiters? The only major classes I've taken so far are Principles of econ and stats, and multivariate calc.

what other tepper events are there, and will I need business formal attires for all of these evensts?

Well, for presentations in some business classes, you’ll need at least business casual. a suit is nice for job interviews, and definitely required for the opportunity conferences, like BOC. very good to go to, even starting as early as sophomore year. having a handful of nice shirts and at least a few nice ties wouldn’t hurt.

BOC is the big one. Business professional or you won’t be let in. It also isn’t bad for the TOC and EOC.

It’s nice to have one just in case. Whether it’s an interview for an internship or a club position, a good suit helps make a solid first impression. And you’re in freaking BUSINESS, get used to it early on.
