I'm really confused. I got the letter to start registering for classes, but I'm so lost. I don't know how to fill out the course registration form- why are there so many things to fill out for a course when all I know is their name and ONE number? Am I even supposed to be filling it out myself? Am I supposed to wait for my adviser to call me or do I call them so they help me through it???

if youre really hopelessly confused, call your advisor person and make them walk you through it =)
and on webSTAC (under course evaluations)/that big book thing that just came in the mail, there's more info on the classes, like for pretty much all the blanks (stuff like "lab requirement" i just guessed and put in A, hoping my person will change it if im completely wrong).
there really wasnt that much choosing classes though for me, b/c the paper was like: hey we signed you up for these two mgt classes, and you need to do writing and calc. happy course-selecting

haha, thanks. I actually ended up calling my adviser and I'm extremely glad I did because she was so incredibly nice!

Not all classes have a lab; of all the classes I registered for, only one of mine had a lab. But like you said, your adviser would just change it, no problem.
