Who is going to be applying for this???
Do you think it would be easier just to transfer after your feshman year to BHP?

I applying for it as a sophmore. As for determining which year would be easier is a toss up. For freshman you need incredible SAT and GPA (ivy league resemblance) to be considered along with strong leadership skills. For sophmore it depends more on you GPA. However I heard if you make more than one B during your first year, you should not even consider joining as it is that tough.

I'm in my sophomore year right now at UT with a 3.9 GPA, in Liberal Arts. I'm heavily considering transferring to business if I couldn't get into BHP. What other sort of factors do they look at besides GPA?

Leadership is pretty huge I heard as well as good ECs. Since recommendations are hard to come by with huge classes, those are not weighed as much. Overall the representative told me GPA is the main factor they focus on along with difficulty of classes.

I'm in Gamma Beta Phi and Alpha Lambda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma honor societies as well as Texas Exes (which isn't really a huge deal). I could get recommendations from a few teachers I'm sure, and I'm planning on keeping my GPA up. The only thing is, I'm a sophomore. How hard would it be for me to catch up with everything in my junior year? Do they even let people in their junior year? On the website I only saw a freshman and sophomore area.

Oh, you are a sophmore. I'm sorry, BHP only accept applications from HS seniors and college freshman. :(

No worries, I was just curious. Thanks for your help, though.
