<p>Hey, I want to switch into the business school (like everyone else here at ut)
and I would like to know what is considered during the admissions process. Is it only gpa?</p>

<p>Right now I'm an anthropology major in the liberal arts college...</p>

<p>Also, I understand that I have to take Calc 1/Economics in order to be eligible to apply to the business school.. However, because I am in liberal arts I don't have to take anymore math classes (sat 2 math over 600 gives me credit for one math class) because they wont be added toward my degree plan.. So my question is.. If i dont get accepted into the business school.. will my grade that I receive in calc 1 be added towards my gpa? or will it all be a waste?</p>

<p>If it was taken in residence, it will be counted toward your GPA. It'll count as an elective if it isn't counted as a requirement on your degree plan.</p>

<p>And also, what is taken into consideration in the admissions process?
Is it only gpa?
Are highschool grades considered?</p>
