hey guys,
now, I've heard that internships are really important and make your application much stronger than participating in normal summer programs. Is that true? Well, I would really like to work as an intern in a bank. But how do you get an internship? Do you simply apply? And what could I actually DO as an intern since I don't have the technical knowlegde...
Are there other options for a would-be-business/econ student?? Maybe something like working for an econ professor???

I have heard from other people on this board that you should email professors and banks in your area. Someone should get back to you. If noone does, you can always ask if they know anyone who needs an intern.

I'm in the same position as you except I am looking for a law firm.

Look at your local Wahington Mutual Bank. THey have summer internships as bank tellers for high school students. (HIP program).

..and you get paid :D
