As I read about LACs it seems that many offer economics, but few have dedicated business programs, am I right in this respect? I'm looking for a business management degree and the LAC atmosphere might be what I'm seeking as well, do any colleges fit into this mold decently or should I look to the large universities for comprehensive management programs?

Bentley comes to mind easily.

businessguy, You are right. Most LACs offer economics and not much more in the way of business majors. Some of the less competitive LACs have business schools-Marist, and Susquehanna are 2 in the Northeast. They are still solid schools that have accreditation by AACSB. Bentley, which was suggested, has small classes. It is a school for business majors. You need to be sure that you are not interested in majoring in another area of study before attending. It also has AACSB accreditation and is more competitive for business.

Thanks for the information, I have previously not heard of bentley but after having read through their website it seems to be very close to what I was hoping to find.

I'm not sure how much you know about it, but I really couldn't find much in the way of admission standards or ranking (just to get a feel for how competitive I am and how competitive its program is). For a school to cost 40k I would hope that it lives up to their claim of having a great undergraduate business education. Also its accounting program sounds good but do the other business majors (especially management) stack up? Anything you might know about it would be very helpful!

Go to one of the college search sites and search jointly for business and small enrollment.

Washington & Lee
http://williams.wlu.edu/

Check out the University of Richmond. I'm a bschool minor, and I've had a great experience with it - small classes & excellent professors.

Washington & Lee, Bucknell, Babson

Washington and Lee is actually the only high-ranked LAC with an accredited business school (the Williams School mentioned above)
