business major internships on Fridays

I have seen a couple postings on college confidential about Georgetown business students not having classes
on Fridays and instead doing internships. But I have been unable to find any information about this on any
Georgetown website. Is this something that the school promotes? Or is it just some something “some”(how many
is typical?) students arrange not to have classes on Fridays so they can intern? If so, how easy is it to not arrange your
schedule that way and how easy is it to find internships? I am asking because I know of
another university that doesn’t even offer business classes on Fridays and all business students intern.

The only time business students have classes on Fridays is if they are filling liberal arts requirements or going to an intro OPIM class. This would occur during freshman/sophomore years. It’s not very hard to arrange your schedule to ensure the possibility of interning. People in all schools do it, too! I wouldn’t worry about it
