Is it important to at least minor in business when majoring in something such as computer science? Would business courses really help out a lot when looking for a job?

depends on if you want to be an engineer or a CEO =)

I think it's safe to assume (s)he wants to go into business...

I have the same question :) Though I believe that it's better to get a foundation elsewhere(though a useful topic) while gaining leadership skills.

true business skills are something that you'll end up learning outside of schools
sure if you're going to wharton or sloan or something i'll look good on your resume, but you'll find the vast majority of wharton grads go into investment banking, etc.
just learn what you're interested in. if you're interested in business, then why not minor in it i guess, but if you're just doing it because it'll help you out when it comes to getting a job, i'm not sure that's a good plan

I'm more interested in computer science \ engineering. I was just wondering if business skills would be useful for the later stages of my career.
