would employees care if you minor in business, but had another unrelated major. if, in order to get this minor, you had to stay back a quarter and go to summer school, would it be worth it then?

Probably not, but I think it depends on your major. If you do engineering, math, physics, or econ or something, a business minor probably won't help you all that much. But, if you have something like an English degree, it will probably help you more.

yeah, i'll probably end up with a liberal arts major. philosophy specifically.

Business, per se, as a major won't help much. If you do something like accounting, finance, economics, that would help much much more.

not the major. just the minor business admin. i don't want to stay back too long for a business major. ><

What I am trying to say is that if you are unable to obtain employment as a philosophy major, then a minor in business would not help much. However, a minor in accounting, finance and economics will help land a job quicker but you have to decide what kind of career path you want to pursue.

my school doesn't offer those three as minors. >< i'm actually not sure what career path i want, but i just feel a bit more secure if i have some business background.

well, if i go to summer school for the rest of my college life and stay behind just 1 more quarter, i can get another major in econ. but don't know if i should. that will be a major and intensive jump. i'll need time to think about it.
