To tell you the truth i need a change of scenery, and would also like to go to a more prestige college. Morgantown is a great place don't get me wrong, parties/clubs/bars are fun, football games/basketball games are great experience. Business school is on the rise. I had a couple discrepancies with my professors, my grades in 4 of my classes should be higher. (For instance my roommate last year handed in a project without me knowing in my CS101 class, I had a 100% in the class my professor dropped my grade to a B+, his gave him the A) However, I didn't get in any trouble for it besides the grade drop. But i guess that would happen at any big college.

Stiller, please inquire whether Penn State, main campus,
accepts bus. maj. transfers. I understood that they are not currently accepting such transfers. UNC requires transfers to wait one semester while attending before their application for admission to the bus. school can be made. Are you prepared to do an extra semester? No guanrantee that one will be admitted to UNC bus. school. Investigate the transfer policies and admit rates for bus. majors.

UVA is a very big reaches. With a 3.5-6/1020 OOS i dont think it is doable. As for UNC i think it is more likely with your grades, keep in mind you are also OOS. USC is also a a big reach, considering they dont consider SATS for junior transfers that will work in your favor. However im not sure if a 3.5 will cut it for USC.
The others i think are not as selective so i think you have a good shot.

Oh alright thanks for the help guys. I got some information about UNC, however I didn't really look into penn state much I just know a lot of people who go there.

I'd say that UNC may be a match, because the rule that 82% of the incoming class has to come from North Carolina does not apply to transfer. So it does not matter if you are in-state or not.

Ya I've been looking at UNC because its not to far. The weather seems to be pretty nice from what I hear. I'm going to apply first then probably take a visit if I get in. If I took classes there over the summer you think that would be considered a semester, then I would be able to apply to the business school. Also, I don't think my GPA would transfer so would that mean my basis of getting into the business school would be of 1 semester of grades?

Im a business student at ECU i was wondering if anyone could tell me if I have a shot at transferring to UNC as a sophomore?

High School GPA is 3.35
