Just a quick question. Is the Business Management and Administration degree a relatively versatile major in the business world? If so, which jobs would encompass such a major?

Finally, I really don't enjoy math, particularly the higher level. Would a typical Business Management program require many classes of higher level math? Thanks!

Usually you have a concentration in something when you graduate, whether it's finance or marketing or IT or whatever. Typically no higher level math other than calc and statistics.

Thanks! So, is management relatively versatile in the business world? Not sure if you answered that already; may have missed it in your response.

Yes and no. A lot of the knowledge you acquire is general business knowledge, whereas companies might be looking for specific job knowledge in whatever business related field you go in to. That's why your concentration and internships are so important.

At the same time, with a Business degree you can go into any number of different fields. I really can't think of a major more versatile in terms of potential jobs open to a specific major.

Hope that makes sense...
