In college, if one had the option to choose either business or creative writing, which would the most suitable for law school purposes?

neither matters, just pick one that fits you best. If you want something to fall back on in case law school doesnt work out I would choose business just because there are a few more options in the work field. However, if you like to write, please dont let law school admissions discourage you from pursuing that. Your major wont matter really, just look at all the previous threads if you dont believe me.

I am sorry, allow me to clarify; I meant business writing or creative writing. My apologies. :-p

ohhh haha well it still doesnt matter. Writing in general is a good major because lawyer need to write all the time and being a good writer is just an invaluabe skill.

Business writing might be more better. A lot of students are shocked when they get to law school and are told that they can't write whatever they want in a random, flowing, flowery fashion. Legal writing is concise and highly structured.

I would suggest a TECHNICAL writing class. It is the closest thing, IMO, that you'll get to legal writing.
