Business School Admission Criteria?

<p>Is admission to the business school as hyped up as believed? Isn't it already hard enough being admitted into the business honors program?</p>

<p>I'm top 8% of my class of over 900 at a known-by-UT public school as a Texas resident, so I know that I'll have to compete amongst the 25% not automatically admitted based solely on a high percentile.</p>

<p>Would M:800, CR:650, National Merit Semifinalist, work experience, and outside-of-school church youth group activities/volunteer opportunities be enough to earn me a spot amongst the 25%? Does anyone know how competitive the rest of the 25% is?</p>

<p>I've already paid the enrollment deposit so if not business school, I'm pretty sure I can get into the school of Communications, which I'll happily do. I just think it'd be nice to double major.</p>

<p>Question, how have you already paid your enrollment deposit if you don't know what school you've been admitted to? Did they just tell you that you were admitted to the university but not one of your majors yet?</p>

<p>Yeah. I'm going to go to UT, either way. I just don't see myself anywhere else, so I just paid the enrollment deposit.</p>
