<p>Hi, i'm now a junior.
I live in Texas and I seriously wanna get into UT, especially the school of business.
I know that they accept applicants with high GPA, high SAT, and high class rank. But i don't know how my situation will play out.
-For my junior year, I'm taking 3 APs and 3 Pre-APs.
-I go to a "fledgling" high school.
-My weighted GPA is only 3.45. <em>Here's what happened. I transferred to this new school, and my old GPA that I had at my previous school (3.93) dropped down to 3.1 due to the new school not accepting any of the credits that I took in my honors classes at my old school. (they don't consider honors). So basically I had to start from scratch. Hopefully though, by the time I apply to UT, I have raised my overall GPA to at least 3.8. *sigh</em> Still, since this school is not an "elite" highschool, I'm currently in top 9% of the class.
-My PSAT was:172.
-My latest SAT was: 1890.
-Extracurriculars: -2 leadership positions. (2 community organizations)
-1 Assistant teacher position
-2 school clubs.
-At least 150 hrs of community service. Still counting.
-I hope to get at least 4.2 GPA during my Junior Year.
-I don't really know if UT will even consider unweighted GPA.</p>
