I’m applying in the Fall to the Smith School of Business most likely for Marketing. I will have at minimum a 3.65 GPA at the end of this semester. I’m taking the gateway courses (Accouting I and Business Stat) over the summer, and got a C+ in Calculus.

Just wondering what my chances are as a current UMD student/internal transfer?

The only thing I know about internal transfers to Smith is that they are still competitive. That means you must do as well as possible to beat out the other applicants for the open spots that they have.

Smith may hold off their decisions until they see your gateway grades as they are required in the admissions process.
