I don't even remember seeing the b-school on campus. Is it mixed in the same building as another major area of study?

Laws Hall hosts the business school curently but in 2009 a brand new state of the art facility will open its doors (biggest building on campus)

Atrium, 2 Auditoriums, its own food court etc.

7 undergrad business school among public universities

17 overall

2 business school spirit (#1-indiana)

Laws Hall is currently just to the North of Upham (the building with the arch in it), and to the West of Hughs Hall (where the science library is/was), and to the south (across the street) from the old site of the Goggin Ice Arena.

Hope this helps.

Bumping up for info

And this too for Buckhorn.

Good luck with your decisions. Hope this all helps.

anyone wonder why there was such a big drop in the ranking? (dropped from 17th in the nation to 35th) I am still very excited though because I feel that this drop will only motivate MU to become even stronger.

Yes-
I wondered that too. One thought is that since this was a new ranking last year (I believe anyway) that some of the other schools took it more seriously this year and responded to questionaires, etc. I didn't compare completely to see how many new listings there were above Miami that weren't even close last year.
My guess is next year MU will climb again. And when the new building opens...
Should be interesting to watch. I still have confidence in my 20 year + old business degree and what it has done for me. Additionally Miami sure has not neglected the business school, constantly improving it over the years.
