Hey everyone, I go to the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, I guess you could say it's an average business school, nothing great, and that's the problem.
I was looking at a list of companies that recruit students here and the list doesn't look too good. There are plenty of financial companies but none that are prestigious and well-known. I was talking to someone who said that the best choice would be to transfer to a school that has a better business school. Are there no other options?

other than look really hard for an internship or start your own business, i don't think so.

Ah! So I'm practically screwed because I chose this school.

Do they pay you enough to live on? that's all you need in a first job. I'm sure the big southern banks (B of A and Wachovia) recruit there and they are national powers. Do well with either and you can move up.

is it not an option for you to transfer?

This would be my last resort. How hard is it to transfer to a top-ranked business school?

Oh also, in reply to barrons post, I said that wrong, the list of companies recruiting are mostly financial companies. And I am pretty sure I wouldn't want to do a finance major at this school.

I just wish my school could at least have been in the top 25 rankings.
