A few questions:

I transferred back instate to a state school because I wanted to be closer to home and because its cheaper. I know this basically rules out a finance major because I won’t get a good job from it, but what can I major in that’s worthwhile? I was thinking about accounting and maybe MIS, but I bet those require me to go to the absolute top schools to get a good job as well, right? So what do I do? I mean, I’m sure other people who got into the top MBA programs or law schools (I’m considering law as well) didn’t all go to the ivies, so what can I do so that I can give myself a shot at the top schools, even though my work experience will be horrendous?

Just out of curiosity, is accounting really boring? I know its a subjective question, but it seems everyone hates it, and since a career survey said that I should be an accountant, I really was wondering about this.

I really messed up my grades this quarter because I wanted to do pre-med, which I sucked at, so in case I need to transfer, what are some good business schools that will give me good opportunities, but aren’t incredibly hard to get into? I prefer the west coast since its close to home, but at this rate, I’ll be open to any suggestions

thanks
