Business undergrad for MBA?

<p>Is it really neccessary to major in business to get an MBA?</p>

<p>I plan on majoring in either Criminology or Psychology. I don't know how this will affect my chances of getting an MBA. I plan on attending UC Irvine as a transfer student. Let me know about any routes I may possibly take. </p>

<p>I have a BS in ChemE and an MBA… most of the people in my class were not business majors.</p>

<p>One guy had a physical education degree while others had English degrees or Comp. Sci, several engineers, and several business degrees. Pretty much the full range.</p>
