<p>There are three different business minors in the “Managerial Studies” department. Most people interested in business at Vanderbilt major in Econ and pick up one of the Managerial minors.</p>
<p>Depending on what you want to do, I’d consider some combination of math/econ. Latest trend in MBA programs is “financial engineering”, which leads to very well paid jobs, but requires serious math skills–stochastic calculus is where you want to wind up.</p>
<p>When I visited they mentioned the HOD degree, because I was super-devastated that there wasn’t a business program. It’s “human organizational development” which sounded vaguely like city-planning meets humanities to me, but apparently is really popular and it more the psychology of business, and then a post-grad business degree. So kind of.</p>
