I plan to work in Hong Kong, and there are the most employment opportunities in these two fields. I am shy when meeting new people, do not like reading or writing, am good at math and science, do not want to work long hours, and want a stable job.

Which field would be better for me? And which job(s) inside that field would be best for me (e.g. consulting, banking, in-house counsel, law firm associate)? Please feel free to ask any questions about my personality, career goals, etc. if you need more information about me. Thank you so much for your help!

Law: tons of reading and writing, can also work a lot of hours in big law.
Business: can be even more hours, generally more quantitative than law

If you want a stable job but don’t want to work long hours, you are going to have some difficulty given your other requirements. Law school requires literally hundreds of hours of reading every semester, and if you want to succeed in the law world, you can expect to put in 80-100 hours a week the first two years out of law school. In the business world, if you go into banking or finance, you can expect to put in a TON of hours. Consulting generally requires a lot of travel, therefore a lot of hours. If you go into management you will have fewer hours but be expected to do more reading and writing.
