I am applying to Emory RD and am interested in studying business. With Emory's business school starting during the junior year, do you get many business courses before that? Is it possible to enter the business before your junior year? I am also interested in a pre-law undergraduate education. Is this possible to pursue both pre-law and business?

There is no such thing as "pre-law." http://www.abanet.org/legaled/prelaw/prep.html

Here are the specific course requirements for Goizueta: http://www.goizueta.emory.edu/degree/undergra_adm.html

These courses are very similar to what I had to take to get into UC Berkeley's undergarad business program many moon ago. UCB also required a couple of basic CS courses and a business stat course. It's pretty standard stuff. Basically, you need to be able to think, research, calculate and communicate. The rest can come later.

I'm also applying to Emory RD and hoping to go into business. Emory has a lot of schools competing for the same students (Vandy, duke, etc.) but they dont have business programs like Emory. Is Emory's program that strong? and does help students get out into the business world better than its "competing schools?"
