I was just wondering how hard it is to get into the Goizueta Business School in Emory in junior year after two years at Emory College. Also, since there are a limited number of spots, would students be competing with other students that want to major in a business field? How does the entire thing work? What happens if an applicant was to get rejected?

a 3.5+ gpa and a few extra curriculars and you have a solid chance. also, do well in the business pre-req classes (econ, finanical accounting, d-sci).

normally, people apply in the spring semester before junior year. you must be on track to completing at least 64 total credits by the end of the spring semester to be eligible.

even though there is a limited amount of spots in each class, the acceptance rate is very high (>70% i think). A's and A-'s are easy to get in the college classes and your grade is independent of your classmates' (unlike the bschool), which eliminates any sense of competition.

Thanks for the info tron. Are you a current student at Emory? A couple quick questions:
Are the business pre-req classes taken only by those that applied to Emory under a business major or are they required for everyone? Also, what happens if one was to get rejected from Goizueta when he/she applied in the spring semester of sophomore year? Would they be forced to change their major or would they just have to keep reapplying in future semesters?
