I know we're not supposed to bring microwaves to our room
but i think $230/year for a crappy microfridge is just insane
i heard that if you put your microwave or other cooking appliances for that matter under your bed,
your RA won't care because they're officially not supposed to look for anything there?
is that true?</p>
<p>I had my microwave in my closet the entire year. When my RA found out during the last few weeks she used it too, before getting her own. I got my microwave and fridge for well under $200; the microfridge is both crappy and a huge rip-off. The only good thing about it is that it has a separate freezer compartment.</p>
<p>what kind of microwave did you buy? just looking into what the ideal size of a doable microwave would be - maybe link me to it? thanks hh.</p>
<p>I think it’s a Haier, it was around $30 at Linens and Things a year ago.</p>
